Mountain biking is a super-cool way of having fun, getting some exercise and taking in the Alpine scenery.

With a wide range of trails in and around Jindabyne it's a great time to get on a bike and start pedaling.

Note that pick-up times may be affected by opening hours, and parts of the trail might be closed during the winter season.

FAQs

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Please bring ID and a credit or debit card to pick up your bike/s. These are used to confirm your identity and to authorise a security deposit for each bike.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Basic bike setup and handover to get you fitted & comfortable.
Maps or directions to appropriate trails for your ability level. Helmets included.
Bikes come equipped with a pair of flat pedals, welcome to BYO pedals, happy to swap that for you!

WHO CAN COLLECT THE BIKES?
At least one rider in the group collects the bikes by showing ID, signing a waiver and leaving credit card details and copy of licence as a security. This is for safety and insurance purposes.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

DO YOU REQUIRE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?
We might keep the copy of your license and credit card, or require a security deposit when you pick up the bike.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE THE BIKE?
Fair wear and tear from mountain biking is fine. We maintain our fleet to a high standard to help reduce any potential break-downs on the trail.
If you're unfortunate enough to damage a bike to the level of needing repair and/or de-values the bike then you will be liable for the expenses. If we need to complete a repair the charges incurred are the regular cost of any parts plus a nominal labour fee to cover the wage of the mechanic doing the repair. Whilst the hire bike is out of action the loss of revenue is absorbed by us.

HOW LONG CAN I HIRE FOR?
Our max online hire booking window is 7 days. Extended hires can be booked via inquiry box arrangement.

CAN YOU PICK ME UP IF I'M TIRED?
Riders must be self-sufficient during their hire. A minimum rescue fee of $50 applies.

CAN I RACE ON THE HIRE BIKES?
Be upfront. Racing on our hire bikes is by arrangement only and may incur additional service fees.

DO YOU DELIVER BIKES?
All bikes except Downhill are kept in Jindabyne. Delivery could be arranged, and there will be extra charges.

WHERE CAN I RIDE THE HIRE BIKES?
Basically you can ride anywhere in the region, except some parts of National park, i.e. walking trails are not allowed. Taking the lift to Thredbo: only DH and Enduro bikes are allowed.
We encourage you to download TRAILFORKS APP for better understanding the trails.

CAN I TRANSPORT THE BIKES ELSEWHERE TO RIDE?
Yes you can hire to ride elsewhere.
Our bikes must be safely and securely transported in a weight rated bike rack, tailgate pad or secured within your vehicle. Damage caused from transportation will result in charges against your security bond. Our staff can always help to arrange, please feel free to ask.
