BIKE RENTAL

 

1 All goods are hired and used at the hirer’s own risk and no condition, warranty or representation of safety, suitability of fitness is expressed or implied by the owner.

 

2 The hirer must inspect all goods carefully before hiring. The signing of these conditions will constitute an acknowledgement by the hirer that the goods hired have been supplied and adjusted as required by the hirer and that the goods hired are in good repair and free of defect at the time of hiring.

 

3 Subject to any non-excludable statutory provisions, the owner shall not be liable for any injury, loss, delay, inconvenience or damage of any kind whether due to accident, breakdown, defect, negligence or from any other cause whatsoever, and to fullest extent permitted by law all conditions, warranties and representations to the contrary are excluded.  Any liability of the owner which by statute may not be negated shall be limited to the resupply of the goods or the payment of the cost of the resupply of the goods.

 

4 The hirer shall pay for all or any damage done to the hired goods howsoever caused whilst in the hirer’s possession or whilst on rent to or used by the hirer and any bond deposit or other money paid by the hirer may be applied by the owner in satisfaction of the hirer’s liability in that regard.

 

5 The hirer shall indemnify and keep indemnified the owner and its servants and agents from and against all claims, losses, expenses and damages howsoever arising from the rent or use of the goods including but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, all damage or injury to any person or property whatsoever.

 

6 The owner shall be entitled to keep the copy of the hirer's licence and credit card. The hirer shall return the goods on the last day of the hiring period.  In the event of any goods being detained after the agreed hiring period has expired, the owner shall be entitled to forfeit the hirer’s deposit and in addition any such bond deposit or other money may also be applied by the owner towards any other amount owing by the hirer pursuant to the contract of rent.

 

7 The hirer shall return the goods of the last day of the hiring period.  In the event of any goods being returned before the hiring period has expired, the owner shall not be owing the 

hirer any money or refund of any kind.

 

8 The hirer shall be charged the replacement cost of any equipment the hirer fails to return to the owner.

 

9  In these conditions “Owner” means NKB Enterprises Pty Ltd.  Business registration No 91 096 586 211 T/As Sacred Ride

 

10 These terms may only be altered or varied by writing executed by each of the parties constituting the owner.

 

11 The hired goods will not be used if your or others abilities are impaired by drugs or alcohol.

WATERSPORTS RENTAL

 

WARNING: ENGAGING IN WATER SPORTS IS A HAZARDOUS ACTIVITY WHICH CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH

2 The hirer must inspect all goods carefully before hiring. The signing of these conditions will constitute an acknowledgement by the hirer that the goods hired have been supplied and adjusted as required by the hirer and that the goods hired are in good repair and free of defect at the time of hire.

 

3 Life jackets must be worn at all times.

 

4 All equipment must be kept within the boundaries of hire between facility and Lion Island  (as per map) or 400m from lake inlets/outlets as per takeaway hire conditions.

 

5 All equipment being used for hire purposes are restricted to the hours between sunrise and sunset.

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Refunds will only be provided for eligible cancelled period —

Cancel between 7-30 days, you will receive 90% refund;

Cancel between 2-6 days, you will receive 50% refund;

Cancel less than 48 hours, you will receive a 10% refund. 

Cancel less than 24 hours, you will receive a 0% refund.

 

All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or a Sacred Ride gift card.
